Online bookings only; counter and phone sales are currently suspended in line with the See It Safely recommendations.

Our Box Office is open for outgoing calls only. You can contact us via email at boxoffice@theatreroyal.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible but please note we are working with a reduced staff and it may take us some time to respond.

Your tickets will be an email with a QR code. There is no additional charge for this and tickets do not need to be printed; simply present your phone to show the email to our staff when you arrive. Tickets will be emailed separately after your order confirmation. Please note, your tickets may not be issued immediately after booking and tickets for shows rescheduled from their original dates will only be issued closer to the time of the performance. If you accidently delete your ticket email you can log in to your account to retrieve it. 

Access Bookings:
Customers requiring a wheelchair position and/or a complimentary companion ticket, can book online if you are already on the Access Requirement Register. If you are not on the Register and require a companion to assist you whilst in the theatre, please click here for more information and email access@theatreroyal.co.uk with your documentation. For wheelchair bookings, please email the access team.

Group Bookings:

Payment:
We accept most major credit and debit cards, however we no longer accept cheque payments due to the Cheque Guarantee Scheme closing on 30 June 2011. 
 



BOOKING INFORMATION:

COVID-19 Refunds & Exchanges:
In line with the UK Theatre See It Safely recommendations, all tickets in your booking will be refunded, exchanged or a credit note issued up to 24 hours prior to the performance if you are displaying COVID-19 symptoms or are required to self-isolate. Please email the Box Office on boxoffice@theatreroyal.co.uk . Please refer to our Health Declaration for more information.

Non COVID-19 Refunds or Exchanges:
Tickets are non-refundable. At the manager's discretion, tickets may be exchanged up to 24 hours before a performance, subject to availability. And difference in price must be paid, plus an exchange fee of £1.50 per ticket.

Friends Of The Theatre Royal:
20% off with occasional exceptions. Visit Become a Friend for more information. Friends can return tickets for credit for up to 24 hours before a performance.

Cancelled Performances due to COVID-19:
In the event that live performances are not permitted to go ahead because of local or national Government restrictions, or we are unable to present the performance due to COVID-19, customers will be offered to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled performance, or offered a credit note or full refund.

Terms and Conditions:
All details on this website are correct at time of publishing but the Theatre Royal Trust reserves the right to alter programme details without prior notice. Sales are subject to the Theatre Royal Trust’s terms and conditions.

Cautionary Advice:
There has been an increase recently in the number of secondary agent websites offering tickets for events at ‘premium’ prices.  Customers should be aware if they choose to book from these sellers they may pay vastly inflated prices. You are to buy only from ourselves, or officially approved agents of national tours. If in doubt please check with the Box Office as to which agents are officially approved and the face value of tickets offered for sale.  Newcastle Theatre Royal Trust does not accept any responsibility for tickets purchased from secondary agents.
