We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for young dancers aged 16–22 to take part in a special performance project alongside the internationally acclaimed São Paulo Dance Company in Spring 2027.

Developed by Newcastle Theatre Royal, Dance Consortium and São Paulo Dance Company, the project will give aspiring dancers from across the North East the chance to work together over several months, developing new skills, building confidence and creating a piece of choreography that will culminate in a Curtain Raiser performance on the Theatre Royal’s Main Stage.

As well as the final performance, this programme includes a week-long Summer School intensive, two reconnect sessions at Newcastle Theatre Royal, technical and dress rehearsals, as well as a ticket to watch São Paulo Dance Company perform.
