The incredible story of women’s football during WWI and how Blyth Spartans Ladies won the Munitionettes Cup in 1918.

Despite their daily hard, physical work – and competition from dozens of other women’s football teams in the region – Blyth Spartan Ladies became the best side in the North East. These heroic munitionettes have been largely forgotten… until now!
