Lots of adult hands raised in the air

Adults

Our weekly adult programme provides opportunities to take part in acting, creative writing, script reading and more, to develop performance, confidence and public speaking skills as well as provide an opportunity to meet new people in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Our Adult Acting courses (over 19’s)  are open to new attendees 3 times per year.

Our Centre Stage programme (over 25’s) operates on an annual membership basis and can be joined at any time.

Centre Stage

Daytime, annual membership

Centre Stage is open to all adults over the age of 25 and provides opportunities to take part in daytime, practical drama based activities on a weekly basis, supported by our in house Creative team and visiting artists. We are developing a creative community where skills are developed and stories are shared among like-minded people, where the principle focus is participating for fun and increased well-being.

Centre Stage is not about training actors, but instead using plays, scripts & performance to learn, discuss and share. Sessions take place during the day, in 3 termly blocks of 10 weeks, though new members are welcome at any time.

We have enjoyed welcoming new members into the building since September 2021 and whilst we know that starting something new can take time to build, we already have a strong membership base.
