Group Sales Assistant

Salary: £15,808 per annum (FTE £19,266)          

Hours: 32 per week (Monday to Thursday 10am to 4.30pm and Fridays 10 to 4pm)

Newcastle Theatre Royal Trust invites applications for a Group Sales Assistant who will assist the Group Sales Organiser in generating and processing group sales, ensuring that the ticketing requirements of the Trust’s customers are met with the highest possible levels of care, attention and courtesy.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience required;

• Have a pleasant demeanor and be capable of delivering excellent customer care
• Have an excellent telephone manner and the ability and confidence in making outbound calls to customers and clients
• Be able to work on tasks independently and to use initiative when dealing with customer queries
• Be able to handle difficult conversations with patience and diplomacy
• Possess an excellent attention to detail and good mathematical skills
• Have a flexible, motivated and proactive approach
