SECONDS OUT

Theatre Royal Newcastle presents Seconds Out, a host of major sports and arts events in the run up to the 2012 Olympics. Seconds Out is a series of projects and events inspired by the boxing and dancing heritage of Cuba.

The North East of England is the training centre for boxing for the 2012 Olympics, officially represented by Glenn McCrory, former IBF cruiserweight champion.

Young people from across the North East are getting involved in exciting projects including dance, boxing, writing and performing. Seconds Out celebrates our regional diversity, through culture and sport working together.
